This policy explains what personal information Faith Draper (“we”) collects through this website, why, and your rights. We are the controller of this information. Contact: faithdraperceramics@gmail.com.

Commission enquiries

When you send an enquiry we collect your name, email address and the details you give us (what you’d like made, quantity, budget, dates and notes), plus the country your request came from. We use this only to reply, quote and make your commission. Our lawful basis is taking steps at your request before entering into a contract. We keep enquiries for up to 2 years, or longer if they become an order and we need records for tax.

Mailing list

If you join the mailing list we store your email address (and first name, if given) to send news about new work, kiln openings and the shop. Our lawful basis is your consent. You can unsubscribe at any time by replying to any email or emailing us, and we will delete your details.

Website statistics

We count page views and button clicks anonymously to understand interest in commissions. This does not use cookies or identify you, and we don’t store IP addresses. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in understanding how the site is used. You can opt out at any time with “Don’t count my visit” in the privacy notice.

Cookies and browser storage

This site does not set cookies. It uses your browser’s local storage to remember your cart and your choices (for example, that you have closed a pop-up or made a privacy choice). This information stays on your device.

Who we share it with

Our website, forms and data storage are hosted by Cloudflare, Inc., which processes information on our behalf. Cloudflare may process data outside the UK under safeguards approved for international transfers. We use an email provider to send and receive messages. We never sell your information.

Your rights

You have the right to access, correct or delete your information, to object to or restrict how we use it, to data portability, and to withdraw consent. To use any of these rights, email faithdraperceramics@gmail.com. If you are unhappy with how we handle your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
